The Baker’s Table is an artisan bakery feeding the body and soul through the time honored craft of baking. We hold quality ingredients to heart and incorporate them into the way we live. We are dedicated to combining organic, local and fair trade ingredients to honor the earth and the hands that cultivate it.

Thoughtfully choosing fair-trade, local and organic ingredients when possible, Amy Dixon tends to each recipe with the passion of an artist, persistence of a chemist, and patience of a mother.

At home in the Santa Ynez Valley since 1998, Amy keeps answering her driving call to pursue excellence through baking. Through kneading bread or crafting desserts for local restaurants, she continues to find joy in a flaky, buttery apple galette or in the delightful textures of a French macaron.

While French recipes highlight the technical prowess of The Baker’s Table, it is the imaginative exploration of turning an everyday treat into an unforgettable delectable.

Bread is the backbone of The Baker’s Table. We use artisan flour, all baked on a radiant, stone hearth. We lovingly create each and every loaf by hand, and carefully tend to them from mixing to slicing. You will see, smell and taste the stellar quality of our mouth-watering breads.

Good morning once again from the cozy confines of the Baker's Table, right here in downtown Santa Ynez, where something good is always cooking.

We just opened the doors and we're ready to start serving up your favorite coffee drinks and we've got a terrific assortment of pastries to go with them.

Our quiches are in the oven as we speak, and the kitchen crew is ready to start slinging eggs, bacon, ham or whatever else your hearts desire.

We're featuring Baker's Tomato Soup on the lunch specials board, along with our Shrimp and Mango Salad, served with Crispy Pancetta in a lemony dressing.
You might want to order one of each!

The sandwich today is our Baker's Table Chicken Pesto Provolone, served on a Ciabatta Roll along with a side salad dressed in the house vinaigrette.

Dessert? Yes, we've got that covered.
Try the Peppermint Brownies or a piece of our out of this world Carrot Cake.

It's that time again.

Your Baker's Table staff has been hustling about the kitchen, and the clock on the wall says it's showtime.
All the goodies are ready - all that's missing is you.

Fuel up with some locally roasted and organic, free trade Green Star Coffee (did we mention that it's also delicious?) and take a gander at our pastry selection this morning.
But as always, you have options.

And of course the kitchen is open and ready to fix you the cooked to order entree of your choice.

Hello everyone. What a beautiful morning it is!

Here at the Bakery we're preparing an array of scrumptious things for your dining pleasure. So please, come join us, won't you?

Start your day off with a cup of locally roasted, free trade and organic Green Star Coffee and peruse your choices. Croissants, muffins, scones are just some of the pastries we have waiting for you. Opt for some quiche or let us fix you one of our satisfying egg dishes. Have you tried the chilaquiles?

Tuesday means it Curried Chicken Salad day - served on a bed of fresh greens, it's a light lunch but it won't leave you wanting.

Our soup today is Roasted Pepper and Spinach with Orecchiette pasta in a rich chicken broth.

For a sandwich special, we bring you one of our personal favorites, the Ham, Brie and Cornichon on a Baguette.

We're also filling up the dessert case, and it's not too early to start thinking about your holiday orders.

Good Saturday morning everyone.
Up and at 'em!

What's on your to-do list today?

We hope that no matter what's on your agenda, you'll find time to stop by the Baker's Table for a delicious breakfast or lunch.

We've got Sticky Buns today and boy, are they good.
Nutty and sweet, just the way you like them. You can get one to share, but we think you'll want it all to yourself.

Of course, there are croissants, muffins, scones, house-made granola with fruit and yogurt and an entire menu of full breakfast items like our Poached Eggs on Levain with your choice of butter, avocado or our house specialty, the artichoke tapenade. And that comes with some meaty, applewood smoked bacon, too.
Wash it down with a cup of locally roasted, free trade and organic Green Star Coffee and you've got yourself a terrific morning.

We're here for lunch as well, right up until 2:30 PM serving a selection of wholesome and tasty salads, soup and sandwiches.
